Hello! I’m Megan and I am so proud to be a part of this incredible group. My husband, Will, and I have one daughter, Brooklyn, who is just over 9 months old and already growing up way too fast! The transition into motherhood was rough for me at times. As someone who has been active my entire life, I struggled to find the right activity for my postpartum body (and mind!). I’ll never forget the day that Stroller Strides came and did a demo for our new mom’s group at the hospital – I knew right away that this group was different. I signed up for Stroller Strides in hopes of someday returning to the active lifestyle that I was so accustomed to before. What I found though, in addition to challenging workouts where I could have my baby by my side, was a community of support where I could struggle, I could modify, I could ease my way back into shape without ever feeling judged or out of place. I found the most supportive, kind, empowering group of mamas, with whom I have created some true friendships. Fit4Mom has truly changed my life in more ways than I could have imagined, and I am so lucky to now be able to provide that support to other moms.
As a Colorado native, I have been active my entire life. I love Colorado and everything it has to offer, I feel so lucky to call it home! I am a lifelong equestrian, having fallen in love with show jumping at a very young age and competed for over 25 years. I’m hopeful that it’s something I can share with my little one someday, just as my mom did with me. I also enjoy running, biking, skiing, and spending time with family, friends, and our 4-legged fur babies (dogs). As a former IT professional, becoming a Fit4Mom instructor was definitely a change of pace for me, but I believe it is truly where I am supposed to be. I feel so fortunate to be a part of such an amazing organization and unbelievable team, who work together every day to make the lives of moms everywhere just a little bit better, even if only for a few minutes a day. Motherhood is difficult, and we mamas need each other!I am certified in Stroller Strides, Fit4Baby, Body Back, Stroller Barre, and Run Club. I am beyond excited to be able to share these awesome programs with all of you mamas out there!
Hi everyone! My name is Holly (or Miss Holly), and I’m thrilled to be apart of this amazing community. I’m a Colorado native, military wife, home chef, and yoga pant aficionado. My husband Lukas and I are parents to a 95 lb. fur baby, named Levi.
My educational background is in Exercise Science and personal training, but a few months ago I was seeking to serve my community in a different way, and that’s how I found Fit4Mom. My husband and I are in the life stage of wanting to start a family, and we are ready to have a baby, like yesterday. But what we want, and what is happening currently is just not aligning up. Talking to moms about the obstacles they’ve faced trying to get pregnant has put me at ease, and to just enjoy the journey. I’ve begun acupuncture treatments for fertility, and I wouldn’t have found the resource without Fit4Mom! Fit4Mom has given me the support I need as a future mom whenever I need it, and I’m thankful to be apart of this tribe.
Given my background in fitness, I understand how important it is to exercise during the prenatal stage, so that the transition to post-natal is not as difficult. Just because I haven’t had a baby yet, doesn’t mean the workouts aren’t challenging! I’m certified in Stroller Strides and Fit4 Baby, and I can tell you first hand, that what we do at Fit4Mom, is like no other. I’ve had the pleasure of participating and instructing workouts with resilient moms who show up to class managing all types of variables, while crushing their workouts. That is simply, inspiring.
As an instructor, my goal is to promote a positive community and fitness experience among moms and moms to be. I am here to coach you through each workout while guiding you through modifications no matter what stage you’re in. I am also here with an empty stroller, should you ever need a moment to yourself.. wink, wink.. I am here to a be a source of support, no matter what challenges you are facing as a mom, or how sleep deprived you may be. I’m excited to start this next chapter in my life, and excited to grow as an instructor, and hopefully as a mom soon enough. Send some baby vibes my way!
Hi everyone! My name is Jessica Dunn, but I usually go by Jess. I am a mother to one precious boy named Ethan, born July 2016 and a wife to a wonderful husband, named Kelvin. Before I became a mom I worked in the health care field as a certified surgical technologist but would soon discover after the birth of my son that I wanted to be a stay at home mom.
I am a Colorado native who has always been passionate for the outdoors, health and fitness. I have always loved being active. Enjoying many activities such as kickboxing, swimming, hiking, running and lifting weights. Working out has always kept me balanced and gives me energy. Prior to having my baby, I enjoyed going to the gym and lifting weights a lot! When I found out I was pregnant I was afraid my life would never be the same and I would never get time to exercise again. I worked out during my pregnancy, felt great and had an amazing overall experience so after I had my son I couldn't wait to find something I could do to stay fit, and not have to worry about leaving my baby. I was then introduced to Stroller Strides in September 2016 and have been hooked ever since! For me Stroller Strides offers a combination of everything that I was looking for! The motivation to get out of the house with my baby, getting exercise, enjoying the beautiful weather of colorado, and most of all the support and friendship of other moms going through the same things I was. Becoming a mom and being a mom is tough! And no one understands that quite like other moms! I found myself attending Stroller Strides as much as I could and 6 months later I was presented with the opportunity to join the FIT4MOM mission and become a instructor. Even though this is my first experience as a fitness instructor, I am beyond EXCITED to be working with the FIT4MOM program. Stroller Strides has been a life-saver for me ever since I became a new mom! It is not just an amazing workout where I can get my sweat on, it is also a wonderful support system where I get to make new friends as well! I feel so blessed to have found such an amazing village to surround myself and my son with. I am looking forward to embarking on this adventure, guiding other moms through a great workout that will leave them feeling energized and confident the rest of the day. I am truly thankful for the opportunity to work with with this company as a Stroller Strides instructor and building lifelong friendships with all you amazing mommas!
Hello! I’m Kendra, Mama to one year old Heston, and wife to Kelly. When my son was 5 months old I felt an overwhelming desire to stay home with him, alongside an equal desire to return to an active lifestyle. I was the first of my family and friends to become a mom and I was desperate to find a community of other moms. When I became part of the Stroller Strides community I knew I had found my tribe. I found such acceptance and joy in the community that I knew the environment was something I wanted to be part of. I was so excited to find a group of moms who not only enjoyed each other’s company but were on a mission to be an example of a healthy lifestyle for our children’s generation.
I have been so fortunate to become part of the amazing Fit4Mom North Metro Denver team. I am lucky to have the opportunity to provide the support and joy that was available to me when I became a member of the Fit4Mom community. I look forward to getting to know every current and future member of our group!more
Hi there! I’m Rachel and I am so excited to be a part of the FIT4MOM team. My husband, Jon, and I have 2 boys, Miles (March ‘16) and Shane (January ‘13). We also have two of the best cats in the world, Henry and Holly. I have been a megafan of FIT4MOM since 2013. As a new part-time working mom, it was hard to find my place in the new and overwhelming world of motherhood. I didn’t have time or energy to connect with work colleagues or old friends because I was a new mom and I didn’t have as many options to meet other moms because I was working. I craved connection, a good workout, and activities I could do with my son. Along came Stroller Strides, then Run Club, and then Body Back. I found my people! All of the FIT4MOM programming has grown with my family and me over the last 5 years. I am beyond proud to be a part of this incredibly supportive and compassionate group.
Health and fitness have always been an important outlet and a passion of mine. Some of my favorite activities outside of FIT4MOM are running, hiking, and yoga. My careers have been in education, working with children from preschool through high school. This is also my fifth year as an Educator for Girls Leadership where I facilitate workshops with girls and their parents, teaching relationship skills such as knowing who you are, what you believe, and how to express it in order to create change in your world. When we become moms we gain so much and our hearts grow to the point of explosion with love for our babies. Sometimes we feel like it’s all too easy to lose ourselves in the process. The connection and support that FIT4MOM provides for moms in all phases of life is an incredible gift that I hope reaches all moms who need it. I am so grateful that I am able to combine my passions of teaching and fitness as FIT4MOM instructor.
