  • Moms are an important part of life, and they deserve some extra appreciation, pollinators do too. Come celebrate Mom with us this year on Saturday, May 13.
  • This Mother’s Day Weekend, come to Butterfly Pavilion to do something with Mom, celebrate pollinators, and create a meaningful memory all at the same time. Mother’s Day at Butterfly Pavilion is full of fun activities. Together with the kids you will decorate a pot, getting it ready for a pollinator-friendly plant for your own backyard, learn about what plants attract what pollinators, and plant your mini pollinator habitat in the pot you decorated together.
  • Package Price: $30 for members (one adult, up to two children), $40 for non-members (waived entrance fee for non-members, one adult, up to two children)
  • *Please note: This package includes one flower pot per family, with up to two children.

  • You are Strong as a Mother! We are making shirts for you and your little ones to wear at the Mother's Day and Colfax races. Or if you want to make a shirt to wear at any time! Bring a black shirt of your choice for you and your kids. It will only cost a few dollars for the heat transfer vinyl. If you can't make it this night, but still want a shirt, we can provide you with the material to iron on your shirt at home and instructions.

    MOTHER'S DAY STROLL

    10:00am - 2:00pm at the Butterfly Pavilion

    Celebrate Mother’s Day and attract some new friends with a special butterfly stroll at Butterfly Pavilion! Moms visiting our Wings of the Tropics exhibit between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Mother’s Day, will get a flower with a special butterfly-attracting spray. Wander the indoor tropical getaway and see if a butterfly lands on you!
