I grew up in Arvada

WHAT IS/WAS YOUR CAREER?

I am in charge of the finances for a construction company

HOW DID YOU FIND OUT ABOUT FIT4MOM AND HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A MEMBER?

I found out about FIT4MOM from my sister Christine. I started FIT4MOM six weeks after Lucy was born.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT FIT4MOM?

My favorite part about FIT4MOM is getting to meet and form relationships with other moms. Most of my friends do not have kids so it is nice being able to talk with other moms who understand first hand the experiences that I am going through.

WHAT HAS INSPIRED YOU THE MOST SINCE BEING A PART OF FIT4MOM?

What has inspired me the most since being a part of FIT4MOM is how dedicated all the moms are about showing up every week. Which inspires me to show up every week.

WHAT IS SOMETHING THAT HAS SURPRISED YOU ABOUT MOTHERHOOD?

Something that has surprised me about motherhood is how enjoyable it is to see your child develop there personality and become their own unique person.

WHAT ARE 3 OF YOUR FAVORITE THINGS?

I enjoy spending time outside. Whether it is going hiking or just taking the dog out for a walk. I love meeting up with friends for coffee to just chat and catch up on what is going on in each others lives. The last thing that I enjoy is workouts. Workouts are the time when I can do something for myself that I really enjoy and that makes me feel great both during and afterwards.

WHAT IS YOUR PROUDEST MOMMY MOMENT SO FAR?

Every time I walk into the room Lucy gets so excited and yells mama!

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE A NEW MOTHER?

Take it one day at a time and accept help from others. Like the saying goes "It takes a village to raise a child".

ANYTHING ELSE YOU'D LIKE TO ADD?

I really enjoy being able to work part time. It gives me the opportunity to be able to be with other adults and make my own accomplishments as well as being a big part of Lucy's everyday life and watching her grow up.
