Meet the Team: Cheryl

MEET THE TEAM

It’s time to introduce our newest member of our FIT4MOM dream team - CHERYL!

We’re beyond excited to have Cheryl as part of the team. You can find her teaching Stroller Strides, and you do not want to miss her classes—they’re so great! Come meet Cheryl tomorrow or Monday for a fun and great workout.

We did a little Q&A so you can get to know her better

__________

Who are you a mom to?

I am mom to Johnny who is 4 and Lynnlee who is 2.

What do you remember about your very first FIT4MOM class before being on the team?

I recall being completely thrilled. I bonded with the girls I met that first day, and Nichole struck me as both a fantastic trainer and really funny. I felt ready to jump right in.

If you could only listen to one music genre for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Pop punk. I’ve loved All Time Low and Blink182 since I was young. We listen to a lot of Fall Out Boy during my classes!

What's something most people don't know about FIT4MOM that you wish they did?

I want people to understand that it’s far more than a fitness class. After moving to Colorado in June 2024, Fit4Mom gave me the supportive community I was missing. You get real friendships, fun mom’s nights out, and a space where your kids can play and bond with other children and caring adults. It’s genuinely a unique community.

What's a show, podcast, or book you're obsessed with right now?

When I have time for TV I like trash reality. 🙈 Love is Blind has been a favorite of mine.

You're at your fav coffee shop - what are you ordering?

Cozy Coffee in Westminster is the best! I always order an Tiramisu Latte with oat milk.

How do you stay motivated on days when you're feeling unmotivated?

I remind myself that my workouts aren’t only for my benefit. I exercise to stay healthy and to be there for my kids for years to come. I do it to improve the energy I bring into my home. And I do it because each class helps me build meaningful connections.

Favorite way to unwind after a day of momming?

Peppermint tea with honey, a fluffy blanket, the fireplace on and a good book.

If you could give one piece of advice to your younger, pre-mom self, what would it be?

Give yourself grace. You don’t have to have everything figured out before kids, and you still won’t after. That’s okay.
