Meet the Team: Florence

MEET THE TEAM

Next up - Florence, one of our Body Well coaches. She can't wait to help you start the new year strong, supported, and feeling like yourself again.

Florence has been a wonderful member of our team for almost two years now!

We did a little Q&A so you can get to know her better.

__________

Who are you a mom to?

👦 I am mom of Arthur, 15 yrs young, and Benjamin, 13 yrs young. 👦

What do you remember about your very first FIT4MOM class before being on the team?

💥I attended Nichole's Body Ignite and she was so energetic, friendly and funny and the workout revived me (as I have never joined a gym or such, but only worked out with my outdoor sports, skiing, cycling, running, hiking, and caring and carrying kids). I felt so good after that workout! 💯

If you could only listen to one music genre for the rest of your life, what would it be?

🎸 I like the 80s!!! I was not even a teenager then but I like it! 🎸

What's something most people don't know about FIT4MOM that you wish they did?

💦 I wished people would try that first class! and know/test that the workout is really your workout where you give as much energy and knowledge as you can. 💦

What's a show, podcast, or book you're obsessed with right now?

💃🕺 I love Dancing with The Stars (and Grey's Anatomy) 💃🕺

You're at your fav coffee shop - what are you ordering?

🧉 I do not use coffee shop at all (so much is going against my values for our human place on this planet) but when I was in my 1st trimester pregnant (very low eating due to lost appetite) with Arthur (some 15 yrs ago), our grocery receipt had a coupon for a free drink at the new Starbucks within Kingsoopers, so I tried a warm chai and it was delicious. Since then, I drink my home-made cold chai every morning. 🧉

How do you stay motivated on days when you're feeling unmotivated?

📆 Having the obligations on my calendar will do the trick -for the most part. 📆

Favorite way to unwind after a day of momming?

🛋️ Blanket on the couch with my show. 🛋️

If you could give one piece of advice to your younger, pre-mom self, what would it be?

🌱 Don't put your babies in front of electronic devices for many many years, but play with them and/or have toys/real toys for self-play. I love that my 15-yr goes to Coal Creek river and goes crawdad fishing, makes dams, or builds a tree house and hangs out in nature. Once, he was resting on his platform high up in the tree (like 15ft up) when the bunch of turkeys arrived and made a call...my son got so scared that he flipped backwards/sideways, and that scared the turkeys too. He didn't get hurt. He then watched the turkeys waiting on a log until he left the place for the turkeys...🌱
