Whether you like to bundle up and enjoy the beautiful sunshine, or you prefer the warmth of the indoors, we have fun ideas for the whole family to get out and explore while we patiently await Spring.

Whether you like to bundle up and enjoy the beautiful sunshine, or you prefer the warmth of the indoors, we have fun ideas for the whole family to get out and explore while we patiently await Spring.

Wow! Children’s Museum

This local gem is the perfect place to let your little ones explore and play pretend. Whether they become pirates on the pirate ship, take care of their friends in the doctor’s office or run a grocery store and bank, your kids will have a blast stretching their imaginations. Wow! also has an art room, baby and toddler area, and a giant bubble maker!

KidSpace

With the fun space-theme and a big play structure to climb on, KidSpace is fun for all ages. From the rainbow slide to the ball launcher, the biggest kids have a blast playing. The baby and toddler area is perfect for the littlest friends and the coffee bar helps Mama regain some of her energy while the kiddos use theirs playing.

Broomfield Library

Located in the heart of Broomfield, the Broomfield Library has an awesome Children’s Library. The library offers a separate space for kids to learn and play. The indoor play space rotates quarterly with a new theme and the outdoor play space has lots of fun toys. Of course, the library has shelves and shelves of books for you to read with your kids, as well as kid-friendly technology, audiobooks and more. Check out their story times and other events. The best part: all of the programs and resources are free!

Denver Museum of Nature and Science

Do you have a dinosaur-loving kiddo in your family? How about a kid who dreams of being an astronaut? Then you do not want to miss the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. From the dinosaurs, to the wild animal halls, to the discovery zone, there is so much to do at the museum.

Denver Zoo

Who says the Denver Zoo is only for the summer? Our mild winter days are perfect for seeing your favorite animals. The zoo is open throughout the winter and the animals are incredibly active in the cooler temperatures. If you need a space to warm up, check out the Tropical Discovery and see all of the tropical animals (including the sloths!)

Fit4Mom Classes and Playgroups

Of course we couldn’t leave our favorite workout classes and playgroups off of the list! Our stroller classes have moved inside for the winter. Find us at Flatiron Crossing Mall or Bob Burger Rec Center on weekday mornings at 9:30 am. Check out our calendar for all of the fun playgroups we have each week and come join in on the fun!
